#Chapter94
The cell was dusty and cold with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Somewhere there was a spider that Dan would envy having the freedom to roam around as it pleased. His head laid against the concrete wall with stress lines etched in his face. How the fuck was he going to get himself out of this one?
Suing the police department was on the top of the list. They didn’t have any evidence that he had the gun until Janet told them. They had no warrant. Janet would discover the truth sooner or later and he wouldn’t even need to lift a finger because she would come begging for his forgiveness, but if not he needed to come up with a plan.
