#Chapter47
Fairchild and Jason walked up to Elizabeth’s house with much precaution. She had already informed some other cops to go around the back of the house while they walked in the front. /"You stay behind me okay? NO heroics./" She demanded to Jason, but Jason couldn’t promise anything.
Alyssa was his heart and soul if she was in danger he would jump in front of anything to save her. Fairchild kicked open the door, gun in front of her, as they walked through the dreary house. Flies began to form with a horrendous smell that shattered all of their noses. Jason’s heart tore open thinking of the possibility that he was too late.
/"Something is definitely dead in here./" He said, with much heaviness on his heart. He prayed it wasn’t Alyssa. Fairchild opened another door leading into the living room, to see the TV on with a woman sitting on the couch.
