Times have changed. That was what I told Sapphire and I was right, they have… they have changed so much.
When I looked at Sapphire, it was like staring at a completely different person. They say the eyes are the window to a person’s soul that they can convey even the deepest hidden emotions… and they were right. If I didn’t know better, and was told that Sapphire and Rose shared the same blood… I would have cracked a rib laughing.
Rose’s eyes were marvelled by her people, they represented love and the compassion she had for all that carried life. Sapphire’s however, burned with hatred and revenge.
