I paid no heed to Xander’s words as I pushed the guard up against the wall, my hand reached up to grab his throat his throat, claws fully extended. I was exhausted, angry and confused with everything that had happened. He was supposed to be with Brendon and thus, should have returned to the settlement together… yet he was the only one of the three who returned. I needed to make sure that there was no traitor amongst us, for all I know, Axel could have been feeding information to Damien and helped some of his members get through our defenses to do whatever they did to Amelia and to tie loose ends, he killed Brendon and Michael.
