Amara's POV
/"Your father doesn't seem very happy about me being your mate?/" Emmet says as we walk into my bedroom. Other than my brother and his mates or family I never had a guy in my room before, it was quite a strange situation.
/"Him and me both/" I mutter.
/"Can You stop that, bad enough I had to put up with your brother's torment of me being a man. I don't need it from you too,/" he says, looking around my room.
/"I don't mean to be rude, I'm just shocked/" I tell him as he picks up one of my grimoires.
/"Yeah, I'm a bit shocked to have mate that doesn't want me and is a lesbian/" he says opening the book.
/"I never said I didn't want you, I know mates are our other half/"
/"Well sure feels that way, so you need to get over it, like you said your brother has three mates I'm sure a female to your taste will come along for you/" he says, yet I could tell he wasn't too impressed with that idea.
