My dads released me from solitary confinement to spend time with Mariana. We went to lunch, and I explained what had happened. She laughed. That is nothing new there.
/"You seem to like this girl,/" Mariana said as we ate.
/"Larissa is different. She’s nothing like the girls who go to school with us./"
/"Good, because those girls are hoes. They were hoes when I went to school. I’m sure you could make a garden with how many hoes there are./"
I laughed. /"What about Brila and Bella?/"
/"They’re not hoes. Bella was oblivious that Ty was gay, and Andrew had a thing for her./"
/"How does that work?/"
/"For Bella, it’s easy./" Mariana rolled her eyes. /"I told her to confess her undying love to Ty, and Andrew thwarted my plans. Then again, that is a good thing. I’m not sure it would have worked out for Ty and Bella when he came out./"
