I led Coop to my room, closing the door to give us privacy to talk. He looked at me sideways as I rolled my eyes.
/"Relax. I’m not going to do anything./" I sat down on the bed.
He walked over and joined me.
/"I only want to talk,/" I said.
/"Then talk./"
/"Okay. I like you./"
/"Yeah./" Coop arched an eyebrow.
I shook my head. /"I like you a lot./"
Coop gave me a strange glance. /"We’ve established that you like me?/"
/"You’re the second person I like this way./" I sighed.
/"You’re not playing a game, are you? Because if so, I’ll put my fist in your mouth./"
/"Do you always resort to violence?/"
/"I’m a Bennett and a Harrison. It’s in my genes./" He shrugged.
/"Well, okay, then. No, you’re not some stupid game. I like you. I know you’re worried about this fall, but we have time to figure it out./"
