Brandon picked me up for school. Coop got the car and didn’t rely on our parents for a ride. He was ecstatic about it. Whom am I kidding? He was yelling woohoo when he snatched the keys from me.
We arrived at school and walked hand in hand as Marta met us. /"Thanks for abandoning me to ride with this dink./" She thumbed at Casey.
/"It’s not like I enjoy listening to you ramble on about some chick and your mom catching you in the act. I prefer not to deal with your shenanigans,/" Casey said.
/"Whatever./" She rolled her eyes, then noticed Brandon and me holding hands. /"Wait. When did you two become a couple?/"
/"We aren’t a couple yet,/" I said.
Brandon removed his hand from mine before pulling me to him. /"What Andi means is we’ll have our first date before making it official./"
I nodded my head as he tightened his grip on me. Brandon is a little possessive of me.
