After staying with Andi and comforting her, I left her with Bella to visit Brandon. I’m tired of seeing my daughter broken and giving up on love. I saw so much of myself in her, and I understood what would help.
I drove over to Brila and Caleb’s house to have a chat with their pride and joy. After knocking, Caleb answered the door. /"Andrew? What are you doing here?/"
/"I came to see Brandon./"
Brandon noticed me as he walked down the stairs. He started back up the stairs.
/"Freeze!/" Caleb said, snapping his fingers.
Brandon stopped and faced us. I walked inside as Caleb closed the door behind me.
/"Do you mind telling me why you rejected my kid after you told her that you’re in love with her?/"
/"Casey told her. I never denied it,/" he said.
I want to beat him with an object.
Caleb facepalmed himself. /"Brandon, no./"
