#Chapter70
Starting over
Bella
After Homecoming, I stuck to my word. Andrew needed to prove he wouldn’t break my heart again. I didn’t want to suffer another heartbreak, and dad didn’t want me to subject him to my sad music. In his words, /"It’s like nails on the chalkboard./"
I came downstairs, and there was a knock at the door. I opened it. I’m wondering if it was a promising idea.
/"Hey, love muffin./" Andrew picked me up and grabbed my hoodie before carrying me out of the house.
/"Andrew!/"
Dad came in and saw the door left open. /"Damn kids, think they were born in a barn./" He closed it. Good to know he’s worried about my safety.
Andrew opened the car door and shoved me inside, then followed suit. Before I said anything, he crashed his lips into mine.
He finally pulled back and smirked.
I gave him a look. /"This is not what I meant./"
/"No, of course not, but it’s what I wanted to do./"
