Holidays are crazy and crazier this year

With the holidays approaching and Christmas break happening, that means everyone is coming home or going home for Christmas. Larissa also said that she wanted to introduce me to her family. Now, this gets tricky. It’s one thing when you’re friends with someone. It’s another ballgame when you’re dating.
Our parents compromised and let us spend Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas with Larissa’s family. That way, each family had time with us. That also meant Brandon came home.
I went over to see Brandon and found him unpacking in his bedroom.
/"Yo, Jackass!/" I said, standing in his doorway.
Brandon stopped and looked at me, then rolled his eyes. I strolled into his room.
/"Couldn’t you give me some time to readjust to home before you bust my balls?/" Brandon asked me.
/"No, because you left me to deal with issues, which I don’t like./"
/"Oh, I know./"
