Bella
After school, I went over to Andrew and Ty’s house to meet with Andrew. He was going to ‘help’ me. Like I need any help.
I knocked on the door, and their mom answered. /"Oh, hello, Bella! Come in./"
/"Thanks, Mrs. Harrison./"
/"Oh, call me Ruth./" She closed the door. /"Ty isn’t here./"
/"I didn’t come to see Ty. I came to see..../"
/"She came to see me,/" Andrew said.
Their mom looked at us. This wasn’t awkward by any means.
/"Bella needed tutoring,/" he said.
/"Oh, yeah? What subject?/" She asked.
/"Yeah, what subject, Andrew?/" I crossed my arms.
/"Anatomy class,/" he said without missing a beat.
My eyes widened.
/"Bella doesn’t understand the difference between the female and male anatomy./"
My mouth dropped open. I’ll hurt Andrew.
/"Well, in that case, I’ll leave you to it./" She left the room and disappeared into the kitchen.
