The next day, I went to find Josie and found her talking to a guy. She laughed with him. I thought about turning around, but I’m a Gray and refuse to let this beat me.
I walked over to her as they talked.
/"Excuse me,/" I said as I took her hand and dragged her away.
/"Payton!/" She yelled.
/"We need to talk,/" I told her as I led her away.
I dragged her to a more secluded area so we could talk without interruption. I released her from my grip, and she stood there.
/"Why?/" She asked me. I looked at her. /"Why do you keep doing this?/" She asked as she walked towards me, then she started pushing me. /"Why, Payton? Why can’t you leave me alone?/" She yelled as she pushed me.
I stepped back as she kept pushing me.
