Knowing what Major did for me made me realize it was time to give him a chance. Ever since we met, things have been so janky with us. It was like we couldn’t get on the same page. But now, I see things more clearly.
I wasn’t that insecure girl anymore. I could survive with or without someone, no matter what. Learning how to be alone was the best thing I ever did.
The only problem was that I had become so accustomed to it. Finally, I had to realize that Major was a part of my life again.
I settled onto the couch and turned on a movie when there was a knock at the door. I let out a groan, pausing the video, and got up. I answered it.
/"Luna! We have plans./"
/"We do?/"
/"Yeah, remember when I said, ‘let’s do something, and you said, okay?’/"
/"Oops, my bad./"
He facepalmed himself.
