I was bringing clothes upstairs. I stopped as my eyes widened, dropping my clothes basket.

/"Can you come to Larkin’s room?/"

I heard his footsteps coming down the hallway.
I stood there, stunned. Nash walked up and stopped. /"You have got to be kidding me./" He walked into the room and over to the quints. /"Girls, how many times do I have to tell you to stop dressing your brother in dresses?/"
/"But, Dad, he’s a pretty girl,/" Lakin told him.
/"He’s not a doll,/" Nash said as he picked up Lex and hauled him out of the room. He stopped and looked at me. /"Can you talk to your daughters? I have to save our boy./" He walked away, holding Lex like a football. Lex waved.
I walked in and crossed my arms as I looked at the girls.
/"Girls, what have we told you about dressing up your brother like a girl?/" I asked them.
