#Chapter493
Date crasher
Josie
The guy at the coffee shop called me and asked me out on a date. I agreed. We planned to meet at this bakery. It wasn’t like the Gray Brother’s bakery, but I figure it would have some treats.
I walked in and found the guy waiting for me. That was a plus. The last thing I needed was to have someone stand me up. I walked over and took a seat at a table. He sat down across from me.
/"I’m glad you accepted my date,/" he said.
/"It was better than staying home and watching the same thing on Netflix,/" I replied as he smiled.
We started talking, and he told me about himself. As we sat there, he spoke about himself. I waited for him to ask me questions about myself, but he didn’t—this date is peculiar. I smiled and nodded. It was better than appearing as a whiny girl.
