After the fiasco at graduation and other issues, we finally kicked back and relaxed. Well, almost.
/"Get back here, you weasel!/" Pax yelled.
We all stuck our heads out of our bedrooms to see Pax chasing Presley.
/"I don’t think I’ll miss this when we leave,/" Payton mentioned.
/"Oh, you’ll miss it. Plus, you have an entire year before the devil twins show up,/" I reminded Payton.
/"Yeah, you don’t remind me,/" Payton grumbled.
I left my room and walked over to his bedroom. /"What’s up with you? You seem more uptight than usual,/" I mentioned.
/"I’m leaving for college with a plan,/" Payton mentioned.
/"Yeah, and that’s a good thing,/" I remarked.
Payton looked at me like I have two heads. My brother has issues. I walked away, chuckling as I let Payton contemplate, he won’t have his safety net, aka Ma and Pops.
