#Chapter344
A carnival and sweet romance
Larkin
A carnival was in town, and I thought Maverick could use some fun. He’s had a lot on his mind with everything that happened, so I enlisted everyone to help me get him there.
We walked up to the carnival, and he stood there. Everyone went off in different directions. I turned to him. /"Come on./"
/"I don’t know about this, Larkin./" He sighed.
I took his hands. /"Do you trust me?/"
/"Yeah./"
/"Then trust me with what I have planned./" I smiled at him.
/"Okay./"
I dragged him to the first ride. After riding a few rides, we made our way to the moonwalk. We seem old for it, but I explained what I wanted to do to the operator. He agreed to let Maverick and I go in alone.
We kicked off our shoes and climbed in. Then we walked around. Finally, I started bouncing around while Maverick stood there.
/"Come on, Mav! Join me!/" I bounced around.
