#Chapter180
BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO
Maggie
I avoided Nash every chance I had. I still had to deal with Jace, Carson, and Bryson. All I wanted to do was wallow in my self-pity and nurse my broken heart. I wanted Nash, but that wouldn’t happen.
Someone knocked on my door. /"Hey, Maggie./"
/"Hey, Jace./"
/"Are you okay?/"
/"I’m okay./"
/"Are you sure?/"
/"Yep, I have to get back to my homework./"
/"Oh, right./" He turned and left.
That continued most of the evening, with different people checking on me. It got so much that I lashed out at my brother.
/"Maggie?/"
/"What?/"
/"Are you okay?/"
I put my stuff down in a huff and stood up. /"Why does everyone keep asking me that?/"
Marco furrowed his brows.
/"Everyone has asked me all day if I’m okay! No, I’m not okay! It’s like someone has ripped my heart out of my chest! I can’t freaking breath, and everything is caving in on me!/"
