Elias pulled into the parking lot, and we got out of the car. He pulled out his phone and checked it.
/"Do you have a girl contacting you?/"
/"Why? Are you jealous?/" Elias glanced at his phone.
/"Whatever./"
/"No, Nate had text me. They’re grabbing a bite. Good luck, Nate and Deacon, with Gabe’s driving./"
I snickered. We entered the store, and Elias grabbed a cart. We picked up the essentials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While Elias waited at the deli counter, I found the baked goods.
I checked out the different items in the bakery and picked up an apple pie.
/"What are you doing?/" Elias asked me.
/"I’m holding a pie./"
/"No, shit. Why?/"
/"Because everyone likes pie./" I grinned.
Elias chuckled. /"We sure do./"
/"You’re a dirty boy./" I rolled my eyes.
/"Better to be dirty than clean./" Elias laughed, and I rolled my eyes.
