My family came to see me graduate. After graduation, Owen and I packed up our apartment. Our dads helped us. I finished packing the last of my things as Dad came into the bedroom.
/"Do you have everything?/" He asked me.
/"Yeah./"
/"Please tell me you aren’t bringing home that Paris girl./"
/"Yeah, Paris broke up with me when she found out I’m deaf./"
My dad arched a brow.
/"It’s a blessing in disguise./"
/"How?/"
/"Now I don’t have to listen to her nasal voice talk about bullshit./"
Dad laughed. /"You haven’t changed since you were a kid./"
I smirked. We finished and left the apartment. I came out to see my brothers standing there. They grinned as I walked over and hugged them.
/"We can’t wait until you’re home,/" Nate said.
/"Why?/" I asked.
/"Because a lot has happened, and you need to fix it,/" Deacon said.
