The months flew by as Skylar’s and my belly expanded, expecting boys. Matt worked on the nursery with his dad and Clarence’s help. We know how Markus likes to fix things. I didn’t want the baby to get hurt.
At work, Clarence made sure I lifted nothing significant, which thrilled Markus. He had to stock the shelves. Hey, it’s not my fault I’m housing another person. I blame Matt.
The lawyer also settled with the hotel with a nice sum of money. I put it in the bank and left it there. What do I need with half a million dollars? I figure I could use it if we had more kids and if they attended college.
Skylar submitted our graphic novel to her Aunt Alex, and she published it. It became popular amongst teens and young adults.
I enjoyed working at the hardware store. I kept doing that and working on the next graphic novel. Matt worked in the nursery.
