/"I forgot about when you visited the Grays,/" I said.
/"I don’t think we give the past much thought when we’re kids. You grow up with your cousins, not paying attention to details./"
/"What do you think would have happened if we grew up together?/"
/"Well, I think I would have spent time with you./"
/"Would that include fighting Mason for my attention?/"
/"Pft, Mason wouldn’t have stood a chance. My cousin has a habit of following Pat, Pax, and Kaxon. Those boys have issues./"
/"Can I ask you a question?/"
/"Yeah./"
/"Do you miss Sadie?/"
/"I did./"
I cocked my head at Matthew.
/"Sadie had problems. I remember when my dad and I argued about it. He told me if I didn’t face reality, Sadie would pull me down with her./"
