#Chapter68
Four boys and one girl
Matt
Nora made sure the boys packed proper clothes. They tend to pack stupid shit. I grabbed our bags and carried them out to the car, finding Gabe and Tori standing next to the car with their bags. I chuckled. Greg wastes no time when we invite the kids somewhere. I’m the same way with the boys.
I put our bags into the back, then loaded Tori and Gabe’s bags. /"Are you excited?/" I asked them.
/"It beats staying home,/" Gabe told me with a cheesy grin.
/"I get to sit on Deacon’s head,/" Tori said.
I laughed. The boys came out of the house carrying their bags as Nora locked the front door. I put their stuff in the back, then closed the hatch.
/"Okay, if you wander off, you’re on your own,/" I told the kids.
/"You’re not looking for us if we get lost? What kind of father are you?/" Nate asked me.
/"A smart one./"
/"I pick Nate to go first./" Deacon raised his hand.
