I sat around a table with my cousins. Our spouses took the boys to do something. It gave me and the others a break. Trust me. We needed it.
/"Can you believe we're parents?/" Markus asked us.
/"I'm still surprised you had a chance since your track record sucked with guys,/" Parker said, earning a look from Markus.
We laughed.
/"If anyone should surprise us, it's Matt, considering he walked around like, uh, I'm never dating,/" Payton said, mocking me.
I rolled my eyes. /"You should talk. Wasn't it you who couldn't get his shit together? Didn't your dad keep asking you when you would figure out your life?/"
/"Yeah, don't remind me./" Payton sighed.
/"It would shock Grammy Gray if she saw what she started,/" Pat said.
/"I don't think so,/" Presley said.
/"What do you mean?/" Pax asked.
