#Chapter165
A crazy thing called love
Nash
Between work and helping Maddie, I came home and crashed on my bed. It’s not that I don’t mind helping, but I needed sleep.
An hour into my nap, my phone kept ringing. I grabbed it off the nightstand and put it to my ear. /"Hello?/"
Nash, I’m sorry to bother you.
I lifted my head, sat up, and rubbed my eyes. /"What’s wrong, baby?/"
I need help. I’m in so much pain and can’t reach my parents. Maddie cried on the other end. Please, Nash.
/"Give me a few minutes, and I’ll be over./" I hung up, pulled on my sneakers, then grabbed my keys and phone. Once I arrived at Maddie’s house, I hurried inside to find her doubled over in pain. /"Maddie?/"
Maddie lifted her head. /"It hurts so bad./"
