It’s all fun and games until you turn someone blue
With Christmas getting close, things at the safe house were getting more unsettling. Let me rephrase that. They were getting a lot more troubling. Even with school, boredom was becoming our enemy, along with the proximity of each other. Ever heard the phrase familiarity breeds contempt. Well, in our case, it bred a lot of disdain. It wasn’t only with each other, but with Ace, Chase, and Brax.
One thing people should understand is you never lock up the double troubles, period. Right there is asking for trouble. The hellions weren’t like evil. Yeah, they would duke it out to burn off some aggression, but the double troubles were ten times worse. While Liam is a prick, JJ is a bigger one if caged too long. He may not say much or swear a lot, but the one thing he hated held anywhere.
