Nik looked at everyone. /"You remember how Mack reacted to Mike and me even after she found out about us, don’t you?/"
Everyone looked at Nik as they ran after Dad.
I finished getting dressed after my shower to hear someone knocking at my door. The person opens it, and I saw Dad standing there.
/"Hi, honey,/" Dad said with a smile.
/"Hi, Dad,/" I said, giving him a weird look.
/"Mind if I come in?/" Dad asked.
I shifted my eyes to the side. /"Sure./"
Dad walked in as I tossed the wet towel over a chair and grabbed my hairbrush. I started brushing my hair.
/"Mackenzie, can we talk?/" Dad asked with slight hesitation.
/"Yeah. What did you want to talk about, Dad?/" I asked, looking in the mirror as I continued brushing my hair.
/"It’s about last night,/" Dad replied.
/"What about it?/" I questioned.
/"There’s something you should know,/" Dad answered.
