#Chapter163
Getting away, but for how long?
After coming back, I went upstairs to take a shower. That was after I found my way to the bathroom after a few lost turns. I’m not sure if I will ever get used to this house. Note to self, make sure we have a smaller home when we get one.
After showering, I put on some sweats. Jordan checked me over, making sure I broke nothing and tending to my wounds. I’m bruised and had cut along with a busted lip, but nothing I couldn’t handle.
I crawled into bed, making it easy. Ryan came in, tossing his hoodie onto a chair and climbing into bed with me.
/"How are you feeling?/" He asked me.
/"Sore,/" I answered.
/"Are you okay?/" he questioned me.
/"Somewhat,/" I replied.
/"You’re not having doubts, are you?/" He asked me.
/"About what?/" I asked him, confused.
/"Myself, we, this family,/" he questioned me.
