#Chapter75
Summer break
Alex
I dressed, walked out of the house, got into the car, and didn’t look back. No one wouldn’t miss me, and I wouldn’t miss them.
Dad pulled out of the driveway, as did the movers. We drove towards Saintwood. While Dad and Mom talked in the front seat, I sat in the back and read. It was a three-hour trip, which gave me time to read.
Before I knew it, we pulled up into a driveway, and a man waited for us. We got out of the car, and I looked up at the house, which was nice.
I glanced around, and it’s your typical cul-de-sac type of neighborhood. I closed the car door and followed my parents.
We walked up to the man, and he opened the file. /"I need you to sign these papers, Mr. Hartley./"
Dad took them and asked, /"What are they?/"
/"It’s paperwork regarding the house and your new job./"
Dad signed the documents and handed them back to him.
