Matteo's Pov
We sat there in the car back seat holding on to each other.
It has been an hour since we stayed like this. Talking to each other about how are going to take things from here onwards. I am surprised to know she's taking a risk for me by going behind her mother's back.
I feel guilty for taking advantage of her for a while. In fact, here she is in my arms, so invested with our Mate bond. She's willing to give up everything just for us to be together.
This got me wondering why her mother did not want us to be together. It also brought me back to my father's question on the status of my relationship with Adassah.
It made me curious that after tonight I'll make sure to find out about it.
Adassah had also asked me sometimes if my friends or Quinn knew about us but I lied to her that they didn't.
