Synopsis
Titania was a transmigrator. Well... to be more precise, she was cannon fodder transmigrator.  She was sucked inside the novel called 'The crimson Hero of the West', and became a sad excuse of a cannon fodder who was destined to be killed by the male lead. Not reconciled with her fate, she decided to take action and was ultimately admitted to be a little disciple mage of a famous mage tower named Draíocht. But little did she know that her fate would literally topple upside down when one fine day, she stumbled upon an old key while cleaning the dusty attic of the magic tower. And when she touched the key a bright white light emanating from it, blinded her eyes and the very next moment, she heard an unbelievably melodious voice come out of that rusty old key: "How did you find my communicational key?" It said, and Tania thought, 'It's over, I'm in love.' And thus, began Titania's little journey of coaxing and seducing the owner of that soul-stirring beautiful voice to fall in love with her in turn. In order to pull the little aloof man from his high horse and look down upon her with favor, she flirted and she groveled, carrying the rusty old key with her wherever she went. From good morning to good night, Tania shared every moment of her lonely days with the owner of that beautiful voice, until two year after, she finally succeeded in melting his iron heart and made him submit. Thus, started Tania's flowery life of online dating in the ancient times. She was a girl of fifteen when she fell blindly in love with her lover of the beautiful voice, knowing next to little about her tender lover. However, when she finally met him, she found out that her boyfriend who she thought was a little white vegetarian was actually a hardcore wolf in a sheep's skin. Titania : Excuse me, how do I dissolve such a treacherous love affair!?

Chapter 1 - Chapter1

#Chapter1

The sky turned dim and the cold wind howled as it took pace.

At the foot of Belvoir Mountain in the country of Denovier in the Year X076, a pitter-patter of light drizzle fell upon the lush treetops, washing the earth green, while the grey sky became all the more intimidating, heralding an even greater storm.

Titania had rolled up her sleeves, her long hair held up in a lone ponytail, and holding a two-meter-long broom, she was standing on the dusty mountain road, sweeping the fallen leaves of the ground with difficulty, while panting with exhaustion as sweat decorated her pretty temples.

Her task today was to clean all the fallen leaves on the entire mountain road. If she didn't finish sweeping, she won't be eating or resting tonight.

She had already cleaned up most of the road throughout the mountain by now, but the sky was about to cause a heavy downpour and it looked like a storm was brewing just underneath. If it were to rain cats and dogs right now, it really will be impossible for her to eat or rest tonight.

Thinking about it again, she couldn't help but sigh once more. /"What has my life come to?/"

Maybe today, she would have to sweep the fallen leaves in the rain all night. Not to mention after such a heavy rain, all of her hard work would go to vain and she would end up sweeping the leaves of the ground once more.

/"They really know how to bully a person! *Sigh!*/" But it couldn't be helped. She was a nobody and a pushover who could be bullied by anyone in this mountain.

Titania wasn't a good person, but she didn't want to blame anyone for such treatment. She only felt that she wasn't strong enough to counter those bullies, after all, it was a dog-eat-dog world out here. And her face was also partly to blame for her current situation.

Yes, it was all because of this face. It was too dazzling for a poor powerless disciple mage like her. And she couldn't help but sigh once more.

Titania's soul did not originally belong to this world. This is a world in a book called 'The crimson Hero of the west'.

She was stunned when she suddenly got transmigrated into this world. Titania came across this book in an old district library one day, and she was just browsing through the book to pass her time and by the time she had just finished reading the first Chapter, she unknowingly got sucked into the book. In that first measly Chapter, the protagonist hasn't even made an appearance yet, and she has no cheats or any legit info about this world in the book. She only knew the name of the protagonist and who the villain might be. If she hadn't seen the name of a cannon fodder mentioned in the first Chapter of the book, she would not even know that she was in the world of the novel 'The Crimson Hero of the West'.

Yes, she was a mere cannon fodder who would die the moment she met the male Lead of the novel.

Her given name by her parents was Noelle and she was a daughter of a family in the slums of Denovier. Her father was a typical drunkard and a gambler and after her mother died of a common cold one day, everything got worse for her.

Her father would often come home drunk and would scold and beat her at every turn. When she turned eight years of age, he opted to sell her to a brothel in exchange for money to gamble. Although at the time, she was wearing coarse linen and had a pale unhealthy face, one could discern that she would be a top beauty in the future. The old pimp of the brothel intended to train her to become a top-rated courtesan.

On the first night in the brothel, Titania relied on her knowledge as an adult to escape from there and then travelled to the mountains of Belvoir to try her luck to be a mage.

This world was a magical world which was divided into three realms. The realm of the humans, the realm of the spirits and the realm of the Gods. The humans who practice magic were known as Mages, and they had mage towers scattered all around the lands of the humans.

The mage tower of Draíocht was located in the Belvoir mountains and every year, they would take in disciples who had an affinity for magic. Titania knew that she had an affinity for magic because she had read it in the book beforehand. So, she figured, she'd rather practice magic beforehand and try to befriend the male lead of the novel so that she wouldn't have to be mercilessly slaughtered by him later on.

As expected, she really had an affinity for fire magic. Hence soon, she was admitted to be a disciple mage.

And just like that, it had been nine years since. She had been it the Draíocht mage tower for nine years now and she had hardly exceled in her magical skills. Not to mention her face of currying disasters, no matter where she goes, she would always meet with trouble because of this face. She had to be always careful of where she went or what she said and always looked out to not annoy anyone superior or cause any troubles.

But trouble choose to follow her instead. Because she had no background, no qualifications, or talent, she was always targeted by the senior female mages. They were jealous of her looks and always wanted to make trouble for her.

Just like today when she was punished to sweep the leaves of the mountain road by her superiors because the senior female mages framed her once again.
