#Chapter29
The movie's end credits roll up on the dim screen.
I stretch in my spot before glancing down at the sleeping toddler.
Her dark brown hair is pulled back into a loose dutch braid so that her hair does not get tangled while she sleeps.
I try to wiggle out of her grasp which is proven to be more difficult than I originally thought.
One of her arms are thrown over my stomach while the other is bent in a rather uncomfortable angle.
I practically hold my breath as I slowly slip out of her hold, releasing a sigh of relief when I notice that she is still gently snoring.
As I climb off of the bed I reach over towards the nightstand and grab my silenced cellphone.
To say my eyes bulged out of their sockets when I saw that Genevieve has been calling me for nearly fifty minutes straight would be an understatement.
I silently curse as I notice her calling me again.
