That is why she is not eating spaghetti!
/"Lia, Just because those Princesses do not like spaghetti does not mean that all Princesses hate spaghetti,/" I inform her
She glances up from the floor, staring into my eyes.
/"Think about it,/" I tell her
/"I am a Princess and I love spaghetti,/" I smile
The toddler gives me a hesitant facial expression.
I continue to give her a reassuring smile.
/"Trust me, there are Princesses who love spaghetti/" is all I say before taking her in my arms and standing up
She giggles at this sudden movement, situating herself so that she is resting on my hip.
I smile a genuine smile at her before glancing at her mother.
Mrs. James is not in the room anymore, her plate even missing.
Hmm.
I wonder where she went.
I notice a figure near the doorway and turn in that direction, raising a curious eyebrow once my eyes land on Genevieve.
