#Chapter8
The simple things mean the most, especially within relationships.
Genevieve is not even my significant other, but she has showed me more love than Bane ever has.
His idea of love is inheriting something.
Sadly, most of the time he does.
This does nothing to change his views on love.
Hell, he is probably clueless to the true definition of the word.
/"I hate them,/" I finally admit
/"I really, really hate them, Genny/" I continue to speak in a rather low tone
I would hate to alert anyone that my bodyguard and I were in the kitchen alone.
They would most likely not care if we were doing two completely different things, but we are hugging.
Something that is considered forbidden by most of our population.
The hugging itself is not forbidden, but people from two different classes hugging is wildly forbidden.
This is just hugging, imagine if people knew we were friends.
