'It's time to check out the effects of perfected Five Elemental Qi Gathering Technique, I didn't get to properly test it, due to the elder's interference'
Ron sat down cross-legged on his bed, and started gathering Qi. This time, he wasn't in a hurry, so he tried to sense the qi around him, and observe the entire process. In the pitch black darkness he felt when he closed his eyes, he saw particles of light floating around him. They started gathering towards him, and the moment they touched his body, they disappeared and got absorbed, as if his body is a sponge.

Dixie noticed that Ron has started cultivating, so he left to wash himself up, as he was pretty beaten up from the mission.
Time passed slowly, Dixie came back after an hour and saw that Ron was still cultivating. He too decided to relax a bit and cultivate as well.
Soon the sun came down and people started to turn on the luminescent crystals in their dorms and the streets slowly lit up with the lamp posts.
Dixie opened his eyes as he exited his cultivation, but he saw that Ron was still persistently cultivating. He knew how this will end up, he laughed internally and decided not to disturb him and went to sleep. They all took fasting pills, so he didn't have to worry about Ron being hungry.
In the middle of the night, where you can only hear the crickets or mild howling sounds from the distant forest, Ron opened his eyes. His entire body felt so refreshed that he couldn't explain, there was a wide smile plastered on his face.

Ron felt like he was on cloud nine, he was ecstatic about the speed he was able to gather system points. In just 7 hours he got nearly 1300 points! It's almost same as when he used the cultivation room during the trials!
He felt that, if he used all his points towards cultivation, he would be able to become the strongest on the planet within a year! He couldn't contain his excitement and wanted to immediately use his points to breakthrough his cultivation.
But when he looked out, he felt it's better to continue tomorrow and continued to lay on his bed. He's not sure if it was because of his long cultivation session or just the sheer excitement of gaining points, he wasn't able to fall asleep that day.
By the time he woke up, it was already past noon. He yawned as he scratched his head. His hair was disheveled, dark circles under his eyes and he looked gloomy overall. He wanted to continue cultivating today, but looks like it has to be postponed.
He walked out, leaning forward and his arms hanging in the front. If someone from earth saw him, they might mistake him for a ghost or a zombie.
He took a bath, thinking it would help him energize, but after taking a hot water bath, it made him even more sleepy. He trashed all his plans and went to sleep again.
The next day, Ron felt a little more energized.
"Hey bro, what's up with you? Saw you were sleeping all day yesterday"
Dixie smacked Ron's back as he grinned. Dixie's cultivation has improved to sixth level of body refinement from fourth level, in just three days! He spent all his points he earned from his missions, towards using cultivation rooms, which increased his cultivation speed by a large margin. But looking at the sect standards, he wouldn't be considered a genius, as there are many others with similar results or even better.
In fact, it's because of these resources which the sects provide, that many go crazy just to be a part of them. In just a month, even a mortal can breakthrough to the blood refinement realm. But things would start to slow down from there. Most of the ordinary cultivators would get stuck at blood refinement realm as they are unable to break their bottlenecks.
After a few hits, Ron blocked Dixie with his arm as he replied.
"It isn't anything, I was just feeling tired"
"Well yeah…hehe…. Anyways, I'm going to take up another mission today. You should visit the mission hall too, and earn some credits. I'm not sure if you heard this, but the outer sect tournament is going to be held after three months, if you want to get a ranking for yourself, I suggest you to strengthen yourself by using your points for cultivation techniques or improving your cultivation in cultivation rooms"
"What do you mean by tournament? Will there by any prizes?"
Ron was really looking forward to such things, if they gave away a few mid-grade or high-grade spirit stones, then he would be able to soar to the heavens in one step. He didn't forget the last time he accidentally got a low tier mid-grade spirit stone, it was worth more than 700 points.
"Prizes? Don't even dream about it! The strongest in outer sect is already at the Qi refinement realm. Let alone top ten, we wouldn't even be able to enter the top 200!"
Dixie felt stupid trying to explain everything to Ron, he gave a few tips about the missions that are available and left the room.

He felt there's a need of a schedule. After thinking things through, he decided that it's better for him to cultivate 5 hours a day. 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours during night. He can use the rest of his time towards missions or other things.
He started his cultivation, and after 3 hours he had just enough points to breakthrough to blood refinement realm. Without hesitating, he used all his points towards his breakthrough.
