The precious big diamonds along with the glass pendant swan which had shatters in the ground creating a sound that echoes in the silent hall.

Her eyes locked with the stones in the floor. She was digesting what had happened. He, her twin brother, suddenly grabs her necklace and let it falls down.

"I'm not like father who'll tolerate your attitude and everything else." He only said and left.

Didn't she ask for evidence? And the necklace was it?

If it were her in the present time, she would have sold it in a high price to buy some new pens since she noticed how her pens slowly disappeared one by one. And it was frustrating.

"L-lady..?"

With her handmaiden's voice, she snapped back to her reality.

She swooped down and picked up the ruined necklace. It was a precious thing and it might have been after she'll sold it secretly, how much penny will she get?

"Let's go, McKana."

CHAPTER 4: Sister Dearest

"...Your father, the Count will arrive with the Young Miss by now. Should we wait for their arrival?" Pansy suggested.

She paused on eating her lunch and look up to Pansy who was refilling her glass with water.

'Arrival?' Cecelia thought in her mind. Did the Count (her father), and who's that Young Miss? Wait.

"Empress Eden Maria Lobelia-Vervain is entering!"

Eden Maria Ruiz Lobelia. The future empress and, her younger sister. How could have she forgot? Those golden locks and emerald eyes, who would forgot that?

Cecelia stand up her seat while cleaning herself.

"Shall we?"

They walked outside where some servants circled and got crowdy. It was like a tradition to all servants to greet their masters at their arrival. And as for their family member, it depends.

"Ah!"

Servants gasps when they saw Cecelia and Pansy outside.

"That's rare!"

"Indeed. And if that happens, then she would ask for something."

"That happens everytime."

The other servants gossips about her that she did not care one bit, but it was getting out of hand.

"It's getting a bit noisy, isn't it?"

With that, only the birds were heard in the place.

"Ahh...y-yes, Lady."

"Cecelia's here?" Gabriel said as he look at his sister from the other side of the fountain.

"It seems so, Young Master."

"The Count is here!"

Just then the Countess came out with a happy face as the carriage came closer.

"Neigh!" The horses stopped as the carriage door slowly opened and they saw a blonde hair of a middle aged man with blue eyes. He was wearing a general's uniform with numerous medals.

"Father."

"Dear."

Gabriel and the Countess Heather said in unison, attracting the attention of the Count which smiled at them.

"Father."

A very gentle voice called the Count's attention. Then, Cecelia finally saw, the female protagonist's face in person.

Eden Maria Lobelia.

"Cecelia, my daughter. You're here, what a surprise." The Count said, expressing his surprise to see her first daughter after months of being away in an expedition.

"You sounded it like as if I hated you, do I have such reason to not greet you?" Cecelia asks that have the Count taken aback by her question.

"Older Sister Cecelia, I have to be frank but Father is tired." Eden said.

Cecelia wondered what she meant but she felt slight...no, she has forgotten those years ago.

"He must be, after going to months of expedition and days before arrival and going back here. Don't worry, I'll see Father again this evening, have a good rest Father. McKana, prepare me that herbal tea." With that Cecelia left the scene.

The other family members was left shocked. But only one silently glared at Cecelia's back.
