The bright morning was shining into the expensive french styled living room, it was already nine in the morning but there was still no sign of Adaline yet. Since she left for the lunch date she hadn't returned nor called them on the phone and Adele was getting especially anxious, she could not help but wonder what Adaline was still doing that she slept out throughout the night and hasn't returned yet.
Adele sat on the cream coloured couch and she waited for Adaline to return already. She had sat almost for an hour or so but still no sign of Adaline around. Adele has also waited last night for Adaline thinking that Adaline would return last night but when she saw that Adaline hadn't returned she began to feel very anxious and uncomfortable and she knew the reason why.
"Mom, there's still no sign of Adaline. Why isn't she returning home yet? Wasn't it just a lunch date? How come she slept overnight?"
