Every hour that passed seemed like a day to Adriana. Not only was it feeling like torture, it was worse than torture.
The uncertainty was killing her.
'Did she tell her or did she not!'.
She knew Elle and Trisha were friends, what she found out on the family meeting was that they were extra close. She could have found that out sooner if only she payed attention to their friendship.
She wondered what Collin would think as she hadnt told him that Elle went to their house.
She decided to call him because she didnt know what else to do.
Collin picked up after the first ring.
"What's up babe, you eaten yet?!", Collin asked, henpecked from the burning love he thought they both shared.
"I can't eat!", Adriana said, in a voice that showed she wanted to be coaxed.
"Why, what happened?",
"I'm worried…", Adriana drawled
"Worried about what?!", Collin asked, he didn't seem the least bit worried as he didn't care if Ella told Adriana or not.
"You know the other night when we got out of the restaurant…", Adriana reported her thoughts to him in a coquettish tone, expressing her grievances.
It wasn't that she cared about the fact that they had been caught, she cared about the fact that it could ruin the plan she and her father had carefully formulated
Collin gave it some thought before he finally replied, "let's just go with whatever comes to us!".
He originally had nothing to say, as he didn't plan anything.
What even melted his heart even more was the fact that he thought Adriana cared about the relationship they had.

On the other side of town, the conflicted Elle walked into the company Trisha worked unannounced, startling the workers and customers.
They thought they had done something wrong and they began fidgeting.
The receptionist who wasn't familiar with Elle struggled so hard to work on her composure. Well, it was all a waste as you could still see she was shaking.
Noticing the sudden serenity that befell the bustling ground floor as she entered, Elle announced,
"It's alright guys, I'm not here to arrest anybody!"
She clicked her tongue after looking at her uniform once again.
"I'm here for Trisha, Trisha Callister please !", Elle said , the smile she tried her best to look earnest only looking very intimidating to the receptionist.
She didn't even ask if she had a reservation or if she had called, she just said, "please follow me!".
Elle did just that, and on their way she couldn't help but shake her head when she saw how the receptionist was fidgeting.
The receptionist stumbled on her heels and Elle was able to catch her just in time before she fell on her face.
"Here !", The receptionist pointed at her door before practically running away.
Elle walked in after knocking twice.
"Come in!", Trisha said , thinking it was the accountant who asked for her input on something.
"Ohhhh, Officer Elle!!, May I ask why you suddenly visited me. Not just visiting, but here in my office!?", Trisha asked as she stood up to embrace Elle.
Being the straight forward person that she is, Elle couldn't take it anymore, she wasn't even seated before she spilled the beans.
"Trisha…!!", Elle called stopping Trisha in her tracks, "Collin is cheating on you!".
