Unknown to the thoughts of Gwen, I had a smile on my face, as I walked out of my house. The main motive of me even going outside was just so that I could set my mind free. I mean what else can you do when you realise there would be a mad Titan who would arrive a few years later and snap his fingers, for the "sake" of others.
At least I am sure that I don't want to be disintegrated into ashes. It was weird since the year was 2008, but unlike the MCU, Tony Stark hasn't been kidnapped. 'I guess that's the Alternate Universe, not everything goes as in the main universe. ', I thought.
Soon it was time for the date, I had with Gwen. So I directly went to the location she had texted me. A smile formed on my face when I saw both of our texts written below. Maybe it was childish for some, but I did really feel kind of warm in my chest, when I saw the message.
Gwen had selected the location for our date keeping in mind that the place was close to both of our houses. I smiled when I noticed how energy and money conservative she was. I had to have a talk with Nat later, about teaching me some fighting techniques, and also I should ask her if she could lend me some money.
I had various plans in my mind, as soon as I found that I am in MCU, at least an Alternate Universe one, and that I was smart. And the only thing that made Batman, the original Bruce Wayne into a person capable of fighting one on one with the Kryptonian, Clark Kent. But this wasn't an Alternate Universe of MCU, but also of DCEU. So it stands to reason that I could still get in touch with Clarkie boy.
But all those plans are for later, first let's start with the date. When I reached here, I noticed that this restaurant was not so big, but it was a lot familiar. I remembered that it was the same restaurant, in which both Gwen and I had celebrated Peter's birthday. The Peter in this world wasn't the Tom Holland one, nor the Andrew one. He was Toby McGuire kind of guy.
That explains why he likes Mary Jane so much. I just hope he grows up quickly and understands the true face of MJ. I didn't hate her, but I was already wary of her. That woman could be the most manipulative person, you could ever find on the entire world.
She did get in a relationship with Peter in the Marvel Comics and the Cinematic Universe, only after knowing that he was the arachnid vigilante of the night, Spiderman. If not for that she would still be in a relationship with the rich kid, Harry Osborn. I did pity Peter a little. That guy lost his parents because of some government secrets, lost his Uncle Ben, lost his love. Technically he lost anything he touched, except Aunt May, well not that she had a lot to live.
He was what people call the man, lady luck frowns upon. But here's the thing, although his luck is bad, but the protagonist aura around him was enough to support him through his heroic journey in this Universe.
I reached inside the restaurant and quickly spotted Gwen. She wasn't alone, there was also an awkward Peter Parker and a redhead, Mary Jane. I sighed as I saw her. It was probably Peter who brought her here. I had no idea why she would come with him, since she already was in relationship with Harry Osborn.
Gwen was wearing a purple turtle neck, and had a green coat on it. I couldn't help but smile when I saw her looking at me, and waving her hands. One of the guy in the restaurant thought that she was waving at him, and waved back, but when he saw that there was a shadow behind him, who was also waving at the beauty, he brought his hands down awkwardly. I walked towards her table, and MJ and Peter had also noticed me. I ignored MJ and gave Peter a bro hug and asked him, "How are you doing, Pete?"
MJ stood there awkwardly, as she had her arms lifted as if she was about to hug someone. That someone being me, but since I had ignored her, she was stuck in an awkward position. After greeting Peter, I stood beside Gwen, and smiled softly and said, "Hey. "
She smiled back and replied, "You came.. " I laughed at this and said, "Well, not a chance that I would give up a chance to date the blonde beauty, I had crush on from a long time. "
Gwen blushed a little, as her pale skin, turned red fr my words. She lightly punched my arm, but it did hurt me. Ignoring the fact that her weak punch still held so much power, I just rubbed the spot where she had punched me.
She panicked a little and explained, "I am sorry Bruce. I had been practicing a lot and couldn't control my strength. " Shaking my head, I replied, "It's alright, since I would be the dominant one on the bed. " Then I comically raised my eyebrows as I made them dance.
It really looked funny since the blushing Gwen giggled at my words. I smiled and said, "You look beautiful. "
She blushed again, and whispered, "You look beautiful too.. No, you look good. You look handsome. " I chuckled at her stammering words. I smiled and said, "I get it what you are saying. You are cute as always. If I had no crush on you before, this would make me have crush on you. " Gwen found it weird since Bruce was acting all open today. He had never accepted to have any feelings for her, but now, he was accepting her feelings and even expressing his own.
That's when my phone rang. It was Natasha, she was back home and was asking where I was. When I asked her why she wasn't she at work, she replied, "Well, my boss got kidnapped in Afghanistan. "
I was surprised at this. It seems like it is more similar to MCU. But being the alternate universe, sis was working with Tony before he became Iron Man.
