Abigail stopped moving. She was shocked, but only for a brief moment. She drew her hand back with a jerky move and retreated.
"How can you do so? I work there. My training is going on. I came to work for you under special circumstances. You can't stop me from going there."
She expressed her annoyance without hesitation as if her fear of him had vanished. She became more daring than ever.
"I see…" Christopher took a step back and tilted his head slightly to get a better look at her. "So eager to go back there!"
Abigail could see the suspicion in his eyes. She had no idea why he was so insecure, despite the fact that she had told him several times that she only loved him. Did he not believe her?
"This is not eagerness," she shot back. "I need to finish my training."
"You can do it at Sherman Groups."
"This is unethical." She continued to defy him.
