Douglas commanded. Outwardly, Douglas appeared to be calm, collected and domineering. Internally, he was shaken at his home being attacked all due to an old man's wicked machinations. However as an Elder, Douglas cannot show even the smallest ounce of fear or doubt.
Therefore to prevent himself from folding before the enemy even arrives, Douglas sat in a meditative position. Clearing his mind, he readied himself for battle. The other Battlemasters likewise followed his example and meditated. Even the mages began charging their staves, magoi crystals and their mage cores with magoi.
