Chapter 100 - Chapter 99- Accidental Kingdom Part 2

"Alert highly dense and favorable energy source detected. Dungeon decontamination protocol in effect. Alert, Foreign entities not native to the dungeon detect. Please advise the correct measures to be taken." Dori signaled, causing me to respond swiftly.

"Ignore all lifeforms inside the dungeon. Begin purging baleful energy, followed by refining the exhaust and transforming it into pure ambient energy. Conversion target is codename "Magoi". Set dungeon target magoi density to 100 times greater than that of the outside magoi density. Set this to priority level 1". I commanded Dori, which in turn responded,

" Command received. Beginning energy conversion protocol set to priority level 1, decontamination protocol in progress, please wait… Decontamination in progress…"

"Alert: All highlighted contaminants have been eliminated. Highly dense energy code name: "Magoi" now selected as targeted energy for dungeon intake. Releasing dungeon energy intake valves… Notice: ETA for complete energy recharge is 10 sol, 200 days, and 20 hours. ETA may be expedited with enough outside stimuli."

A video feed of outside the dungeon showed tentacle-like tubes made of pure energy poke out of the dungeon. They then swiftly dashed everywhere. Some went into the geothermal vents, other into the ground, and some just floated about. With the dungeon directly connected to the lake, I nodded in satisfaction. Sadly, I was not prepared for what came next.

"Alert: ETA for complete energy recharge reduced to 1 sol, 20 days… Alert: ETA for complete energy recharge reduced to 10 days… Alert: energy recharge complete. Alert: Magoi density increased by 1000%. Maximum dungeon energy capacity exceeded by 400% and rising. Warning: Dungeon core overall stability has decreased by 67% and rising. Dungeon Master intervention is required."

(Shiii…) Trying not to panic as the dungeon became unstable, I opened a portal directly to the dungeon core chamber. Once there, the chamber was flashing red as the dungeon core expanded and contracted. Tons of cracks appeared all over the giant sphere. Placing my hands on the dungeon core, I immediately assessed the situation. As a response, Dori once again chimed,

"Alert: Dungeon core overall stability has decreased by 10%. Core stability has entered the critical stability zone. Dungeon core meltdown eminent. Dungeon master manual intervention is required."

"Condense 87% of all received magoi particle into liquid, Priority: level 2. Infuse all sentient organic life with 85% diluted ambient magoi. Infuse non-sentient organic life and non organic substances with 45% diluted ambient magoi, Priority: level 4."

"Target location; Floor 1, underground river Styx. Commence water treatment; desired water content 96% condensed purified liquid magoi, and 4% natural water filtered from the surrounding lake, Priority: Level 1."

"Begin Dungeon core chamber modification. Target: Intake ritual circle. Command: replace existing ritual circle with the manually input magic circle, Priority: Level 0. Begin immediate implication."

Stating each command as the alerts came in, I began working on destroying the existing magic circle in the core chamber. Still with both hands on the core, I began floating in the air alongside the core. Meanwhile, the floor melted like hot candle wax, leaving only the obelisk in the center of the room which supports the core. Next, from the four corners of the room, similar obelisks formed and slowly ascended from the pool of wax-like molten orichalcum/obsidian flooring.

From the dungeon core, I had been manually inscribing the magic circle as I deemed fit. In response, the chamber immediately shifted to match my input. Once fully formed, the new obelisks began glowing in four assorted colors: amber, azure, emerald, and sepia.

Next, particles of the absorbed pure magoi began to condense on top of each obelisk. This processes lasted until roman decahedrons made of crystalized magoi the size of a hotel mini fridge formed from the rapidly condensing magoi. Similarly, the dungeon core began to contract and morph into a roman decahedron as well; albeit the size of an adult elephant.

Magoi particles filled the chamber, causing the molten floor to solidify into a brand new magic circle. This new circle was unlike the original circle which had been perverted by demonic dragon magic. The new magic circle was in the form of an octagrammaton with the four cardinal points of the star aligning with the peripheral obelisks.

In the center naturally housed the dungeon core's obelisk. Polychromatic light filled the room as the magic circle began to glow. Magoi particles too began circulating around the chamber, passing through each peripheral elemental core until spiraling into the central dungeon core. After 10 minutes, Dori spoke out as the alarms died down,

"Alert: Core stability at 100%. Auxiliary Elemental core stability at 100%. Beginning Dungeon expansion protocol in response to the newly established core circulatory systems… Please wait… ETA for complete expansion: 15 minutes".

"Okay… I didn't call for the dungeon to expand with the new magic circle. Halt dungeon expansion protocol." I said shakily as the last thing I need now is to tell the entire world a dungeon is in this forest.

"Command received… Command denied: Auto expansion has commenced as a response to overflowing energy being supplied by the surrounding area. Alert: After attempts to expel dungeon purified energy codename: "Magoi", surrounding area's energy density increased by 150% and rapidly rising. Total expulsion rate: 1000 energy particles per second and rising".

Whelp… there's nothing I can do. Creating a portal leading to the sky above the glade, I flew out to watch everything happen. Floating in the air, I watched the glade expand. Oddly enough, the surrounding forest remained the same.

As the magoi density rose, so did the overall size of the glade. After 20 minutes, everything settled as the glade had finished expanding. To be honest, it can no longer be called a glade, but more of a country or something.

Using my connection to the dungeon core, I was able to determine the glade had become a 900,000km2 spread of land. Even from high up, it was too far for me to see it all from end to end. The magoi fog created a thick barrier surrounding the area like a gaseous labyrinth 12m high, almost like a portal of sorts.

Thick magoi clouds sucked up and poured down never-ending streams of liquified magoi. The clouds all differed in color as dark blue clouds sucked up water from the lake Grey clouds poured purified liquid magoi back into the lake. Silvery clouds wafted from the lake to the other areas, gently raining down on the flora.

Lastly, golden clouds sat high into the sky, absorbing all sunlight, and acted as Shenlong's "heavenly abode". Below the clouds, undine and other water spirits could be seen navigating the now massive lake the size of Lake Ontario. This body of water now reached a depth over 45,000m. Meanwhile, the dungeon sat at 46,785m below the lake surface. (Maybe I should call it an ocean given how deep it was).
