Chapter 65 - Chapter 64- Divine Sword Dance Part 2

To the group waiting below the arena, everything that transpired was very much similar to how the elves prayed and communed with the Elder Spirits. The four elemental pillars represent the Four Elder Spirits. Yuriy and Elder Aliandorith represent Light and Darkness elements and the radiation cloud being the mist which shrouds the Creator's altar. Their Sword dance was mystifying and enchanting.

Although the sight was familiar to Katya and Ivy, to Anansi and Cavilhaugh, everything was ethereal and enchanting. No one at that moment noticed the baleful energy began to dissipate all throughout the dungeon floor and was replaced with pure magoi. Not even the Abyssal Treant noticed the pure elemental energy which was ushered into the dungeon, slowly altering the dungeon floor and its inhabitance. Turing the 3rd floor into a paradise for spirits.

Yuriy and Aliandorith continued their sword dance for 2 additional hours, and by that time the entire floor was completely changed. The forest floor began to spark new life as monsters began fleeing to the 2nd floor and infant elemental sprite were born. The restlessness amongst the trees was replaced by a soothing calm. It was at this moment, an eruption of life force rushed towards the higher floors. The eruption which originated from the blade dance.

I and Elder Aliandorith continued to trade blows as we moved faster and faster. Additionally, I inside my time stopped trance, I was able to move my body the moment an opportunity presented itself. Before, everything was stagnant and stuck like a wall prevented me from moving forward. Now, using everything I have in my arsenal, I was keeping up with the Elder and even encroaching on his person. The last few exchanges I was able to redirect his strike and return a blow of my own finally causing him to lose his bearing if only for a brief moment.

(Yes, I can see it now, I can see a breakthrough, but this is not enough. I need to push more. I need to push harder.) I began to create a flurry of feints mixed with deadly strikes as I duel-wielded my two shortswords. By now, Elder Aliandorith was using his full strength and held nothing back. As I looked at him, a smile broke through his solemn face; a long-lost smile which after what seemed to be an eternity had finally broken through the darkness.

I too smiled as we continued our sword dance. We exchanged blows until after 2 more hours since I began to use both shortswords. By now the penultimate moment had arrived! Our backs were turned towards each other as we prepared to unleash opposing slashes.

I was slashing downwards, and the Elder upwards. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as our blades approached each other. Deep within me the bubbling energy had reached its limit and all it took was but the smallest push. In the most brilliant of moments, blades clashed, ushering that energy from within me,

KABOOMMM!!!

(Yes!! Yes!!) A rush of lifeforce burst through as if a dam could no longer take the pressure. The blast had thrown both the Elder and me nearly off the arena. Meanwhile, the black, light consuming lifeforce flowed out as my body began to experience a qualitative change. My bloodline radiation merged with this energy as they flooded my mana palaces save the accursed left arm palace.

The accursed palace instead began to eat away at the other curse in me. Soon, I felt a shroud over my head slowly dissipate and I could think more clearly. My Divine Kingdom palace also responded to the lifeforce bursting through me as it began to release an enormous amount of archaic energy which tempered all of my mana palaces, including the accursed palace.

This baptism seemed to last for hours, but in fact it was only 5 minutes. At the end of it, my mana palaces all radiated different pure energies. The ones that stood out the most to me were the feet, hands, Celestial and Divine Kingdom palaces.

The Left foot palace radiated a grey neutral energy. Meanwhile the right foot a brown earthy energy. The right hand a had an ever-blazing fiery energy piercing through. In contrast, the left hand had an accursed foggy energy shrouding over it.

Light bloomed forth as the Celestial Palace shined like a bright and pure white star. Whereas, the Divine Kingdom palace radiated a majestic array of colors; blue, red, green, yellow, orange, white, black… Every color within the color spectrum and the few outside the spectrum all were found in this every changing array of light.

Overjoyed by my changes, I didn't pay any heed to the sea of messages appearing from the system; instead, I looked towards the Elder. Although he was still alive and breathing, he seemed to have one foot in the grave. Walking up to him, I knelt down and placed my hands on his shoulders.

"You have more than proven yourself. I apologize to you for having you and your clan wait in suspended false life for so long. It is time for your clan to return to the fold. Receive my gift and be restored."

I said to the Elder and evoked the ritual as guided by the information within the system. I cut deeply into my hand, and drew celestial runes upon his face, then bade him drink my blood, to which he did. After that, he sat cross-legged in a meditative position and became still as a statue will the ritual continued. My portion was over, now all that was left is for him to begin the change. Standing up I walked down from the arena and reunited with the others.

Once down there, I noticed they were not alone, for a sea of Abyssal elves all wearing fruit husks for clothes knelt down. Confused by the display, I attempted to inquire when the Abyssal treant spoke in elvish,

"The deed is done, the lost are now found, and mine task hast been fulfilled. I pray, Godling, take upon thine self, mine sapling that it may sprout in holy soil while this old vessel returns to dusk."

Without waiting for a response, a sapling the size of a 1-storey house slowly sprouted from the Abyssal Treant's chest and flew directly to me. Placing my hand on it, I sent the sapling into the inventory for the time being. Afterwards, I looked to Ivy for an explanation. She began to tell me all they had seen while making sure the other were not listening,

"While you were fighting, at first a few of the abyssal elves watched on. But after you released everything, you had, four elemental pillars appeared. Elemental Pillars which happen to be remarkably similar to the four elemental altars in the Dark elf settlement. You represented darkness and the Elder represented light. Whereas the foggy forcefield around you was the mist the surrounds the Creator's throne. I'm quite sure you understand what happened next, right?"

"Indeed, I awoken my aura. But that can't possibly be it, right?" I asked, still not seeing the whole picture.

"It would seem, as a result the entire dungeon floor was changed, elemental sprites were born and even the baleful energy was completely purified. Do you notice how calm it is? Also notice the look in the eyes of the abyssal elves. They are not mindless, but somewhat aware of their surroundings. As if they are toddlers becoming aware of the world for the first time."

Scanning large groups of kneeling abyssal elves, a greater sense of pity washes over me. Yet currently there is nothing I can do for these cloned "elves." Only by becoming the dungeon master and moving it to a place with extremely dense magoi will be able to make them members of the races. With this thought, I wasn't going to say anything or create a false sense of hope.

"Let's finish this…" I said walking towards the feet of the slowly shriveling treant. Although it's not entirely dead, its initial might has dropped since the sapling was created. Not wanting to delay any longer than we already had, I walked towards the sigil portal leading to the 4th and final floor.
