Chapter 46 - Chapter 45- Dungeon Delve: Race to the Center (Ivy) Part 1

Meanwhile, in the easternmost region of the 1st floor

"Hehe, I finally caught you, fucking bitch!"

A decrepit man said while gazing at a woman entombed by vines and stone. The man was the (so called) peak Master stage mage bandit leader. Whereas the woman shield by stone was Ivy.

Ivy seemed to have the worse(?) luck out of the group. Despite being the first to enter, she was dropped right on top of the bandit leader's camp on the 1st floor. She had been fighting for days with the bandit group and their leader. Eventually, she needed to rest, yet her hidden resting place was found and surrounded by the bandits.

A few days prior, after being sent into the dungeon once the light cleared, Ivy noticing where she landed and who stood in front of her, immediately began reaping the lives of all the bandits she saw; however, unlike when she fought alongside Yuriy, Katya and the others in their party, Ivy gave off a completely different aura, one of death and depravity.

"It is nice to finally let loose without Yuriy's gaze on me. To be honest, I was tired of hiding my nature. Thanks to you fools, I will now populate this floor with my children. You should feel honored to be used as fertilizer for their growth."

Ivy announced as she revealed her scorpion whip alongside another weapon she had not used when around others. To be exact this is Ivy's true weapon, and much to Yuriy's dismay (if he ever knew) had the appearance of a particular weapon used in a game he enjoyed playing. The blade's hilt was made of pure magic obsidian and housed 4 magoi crystals only found in one of the deathly forbidden continents, Hellscape the realm of demonkind.

Flipping the emitter switch, a ghastly violet beam of light came out of the hilt while an archaic magic circle rotated around the emitter magoi crystal clamped into the hilt but exposed for all to see. It was said this blade had varied lengths which sometime looked like a whip and only the most evil and heinous of demons wielded the blade given their responsibility to reshape and reforge the dead into creatures of the night, which made up most of the Demon King's forces.

Ivy, now holding both weapons in hand, exuded a bloodlust which took the physical form of snakes made of thorny vines. She did not waste any time as she reaped the lives of the bandits. Her scorpion whip and occultsaber flayed bandits as they extended out and split all in their path.

Amidst all of the carnage, Ivy began an incantation which later produced unnatural seeds from the blood and flesh of all she killed. Once enough seeds formed, they shot forward, embedding themselves into any unlucky bandit that was in their flight path. The seeds acted very much like the Deathless Lilac, only they did not require many corpses to grow, only one.

"You demonic Bitch! Dare to use your sorcery on my men!! When I catch you, I will rip those limbs off you and defile you for all the destruction you have caused to my operation. You will be begging me to rape you to death when I am done!"

The bandit leader cursed, veins bulging all over his face from rage. Of course, Ivy was not impressed with his threats. Not stopping the carnage bloodfest she created, she replied,

"Little boy, I have met many who swore to the heavens as you do now. Hehe, to be honest, it was funny to hear you say this as they did. Only for them to die wailing to the heavens. But I won't let you share their fate.

Instead of me ending your miserable life as a pile of waking filth, I will ensure the seeds I embed in you will not take your life. You will be forced to live for thousands of sols as their undying food source. Mmmm, just thinking of what pleasure I will have while torturing your very soul turns me on! (If only Yuriy was here, I really need his h*** c*** inside me after this… sigh.)"

Ivy stared with eyes glowing bright blood red. The bandit leader saw this and immediately knew he was facing an ancient existence which many confused as demonic dragonkin, a demon. Demonkind, unlike demonic dragons and monsters, are categorized by the color of their eyes. Demons with grey eyes made up the Lesser ranked demons. The next rank, demons with blue eyes made up the Knight and General ranked demons.

In the higher demons with purple eyes made up prince and Duke ranked. The next rank of demons are demons with red eyes known as King ranked demons. However, the rank above King rank is limited to a select few demons.

To be exact, 9 demons with deep blood red eyes are royal demons who were the children of the one and only Demon King, embodiment of all carnalities in Ohmdorra. These demons are Demonic Aire ranked demons. Another name for these demons is Progenitor demons, as each one has a separate race of demonkind.

Do not misunderstand, demonkind cannot be confused with the demonic dragons' ilk since they have been on Ohmdorra from the beginning, and like the other races, learned from the Celestial dragons. The two demon ancestors even attempted to worship them as gods, of which the Celestial dragons did not like.

The one and only Demon King and his wife(?) were the ones the celestial dragons taught. Afterwards the Demon King, who learned everything he could from the celestial dragons, took all demonkind throughout Ohmdorra and created a paradise for them alone. Even a shroud similar to the one surrounding the dragon continent was created, officially establishing the continent of Hellscape.

Regardless, the bandit leader fearing Ivy's words as a predestined prophecy, threw his men at her. He then began to use a spell meant for demons. The bandit leader was a mage from the school of conjuration and focused solely on summoning nether and ethereal beings.

He intended on using his men as fodder to buy him enough time to conjure a sacred being meant for fighting demons. Ivy never allowed the bandit leader to stray too far from her notice. When she spotted the large magic circle which was being shaped above the bandit leader, she immediately knew what was coming.

As if gaining lives of their own, Ivy's weapons shot out of her hands and began to lay waste to the bandits. All the while, seeds rained down on the few unlucky enough to still live. Ivy too began to summon a being to fight. Only, her magic circle covered everything within a 100-meter radius with Ivy at the center. Unlike the bandit leader's spell, her summoning spell only took 15 seconds to form before sucking ambient magoi into it.

As a result, Ivy's spell disrupted the bandit leader and diffused his spell. In another 10 seconds, Ivy's magic circle imploded creating a portal of some sort. Out from the portal came a monstrous hand which barely fit through the portal. One could only imagine the existence attached to the enormous hand as the hand struck down.

Not wasting any more time with the bandits, Ivy recalled her weapons and swiftly left the area as the hand prepared to fire an enormous ball of demonic flames which would consume everything in the area regardless of whether the spell caster was among those destroyed. After running for about 30 seconds, Ivy looked back in time to see the ball of flames smash into the ground,

BBOOOOMMMM!!!!

Ivy turned around and prepared for the shockwave, which right before hitting her, jumped up and used the shock wave to propel forward as if flying. Still with her weapons in hand, Ivy would use them to slice everything that was in her way as she flew in the direction of the lake which was the rendezvous point.

Ivy wasn't concerned for her seedlings since demonic fire was the best fertilizer which hastened their growth. Not to mention the entity she summoned wouldn't even dare to allow anything to happen to them or face the wrath of one much greater. Though Ivy would later learn she had made a blunder in the form of the bandit leader.
