3 sols later
After much blood, sweat, sex, and tears I finally reached my goal. During the 1st sol, I was able to infuse magoi into normal metals such as iron, steel, and Dwarven alloy which came in handy as I continued to hunt bandits within a 10 km radius of our homestead. Most of the scumbags I killed were poorly equipped and were killed like sheep among wolves. Though, I remember one bandit group who managed to get past the gargoyles near the rear of the homestead.
These bastards were all equipped with Dwarven plate armor and even had magic steel swords. They still didn't stand a chance as Ivy created a thorny barricade. With the thorns encircling the goons the moment they entered the training field, I harvested their mournful souls. The fight was so thrilling!! later that night, Ivy and I fucked in the open-air bath for 2 hours.
(Yo… I have become a degenerate!!) Now after a bloodbath, I need to have hot sex to cool me off. I fear my addiction for sex is growing by the day. Luckily Ivy also has a bottomless sex drive, so it works out… I guess.
During the 2nd sol, I was finally about to mold magic metal such as moonsilver, magic steel (lesser version of orichalcum), golden ire (which is an exceedingly rare ore on Eliador), and lastly, tiny amounts of mithril. The mithril and golden ire ore were looted from the fancy bandits from before and boy those guys were loaded despite being scum.
Even though I could make things from these ore types, the durability, design, and quality would be hot dog shit. So I spent most of the sol getting better results while gathering more orichalcum and golden ire. In time all my arduous work paid off. Just last month, I was able to create armor I'm confident enough to trust my life with. Not wasting time, I proceeded to make equipment of their choice for Katya, her golems and Ivy.
Ivy preferred whips so I created a scorpion whip after much consideration and inspiration from a classic fighting game back on Earth. To be completely honest, I always enjoyed the game for the scorpion whip character and her sexy but deadly display. That and she was a bitch to fight against once you knew how to chain combo her attacks. Now that I think about, Ivy also has the same name… no… let me forget that thought… I don't need a certain wraith of a sailor chasing me for a demon sword and his daughter's soul.
Anyway, the scorpion whip was made using that character's weapon as the general design. The hilt was made out of mithril with golden ire gears and switches. Golden ire to me, was best used for small machine parts and not for typical weapons and armor.
The blade was a combination of moonsilver blades and orichalcum threads weaved with the "magic loom" as I call it. When Ivy presses the switch, the blade transforms into a bladed whip. When she releases the switch, the whip converts back into a single blade.
Unlike the scantily dressed game character with a similar name, Ivy's armor is made to cover and protect her vitals. I used manticore hide and a mithril-moonsilver alloy I have named "Luminian Silver". I had not planned on making this alloy in truth, but most discoveries are made by accident.
While forging one night, I unintentionally smelted raw mithril ore and refined moonsilver. The composition was in a ratio where there was 3 times the mithril than moonsilver. The result, a luminescent alloy that naturally absorbs ambient magoi thus the name.
Additionally while in a liquid state, the alloy would absorb large amount of magoi As a result, the absorption rate prevents the metal from solidifying. Therefore, I had to stop all magical equipment. Afterwards, I needed to borrow mom's knowledge to create a magic formation which absorbs ambient magoi. Taking my hammer in hand, I smithed the alloy with good old-fashioned muscle and grit without imbuing magoi into the anvil or hammer.
After shaping and tempering the alloy, the metal will glow based on the magoi infused. Still, I came to the conclusion I would need to find a way to smith the alloy with magoi infusion somehow. I can't spend too much time hammering away at the metal regardless if I have a divine body. Therefore, I had been working on ways to forge the alloy while still using magoi; of course I have yet to come up with a feasible solution…for now.
Barring my tangent, Ivy's armor uses manticore hide as the base for the jacket, fitted pants, Gauntlets and thickened hide boots. The boots and Gauntlets are reinforced with luminian silver on the toe and heels of the boot. While the Gauntlets have the luminian silver shaped as claws on the fingers.
Obsessed with the alloy, luminian sliver was used for the Pauldrons, Vambrace and Poleyn. Each were strapped and fitted atop to protect the shoulders, knees, and elbows. The armor is lightweight and could absorb ambient magoi like a golem does.
Ivy now has a portable magoi reservoir she can tap into midst combat. She can also blind her enemies when infusing enough magoi throughout the armor. As a result, she can create the perfect chance to cause critical damage or create distance.
For Katya, I created battle robes made of mammoth moth silk and threaded orichalcum and luminian sliver. The magic loom is amazing! All I had to do is gather enough ingots of my preferred metal and place them in an isolated container.
Said container then prevents ambient magoi from entering solving my luminian silver issue (somewhat). Next, I needed to spin the loom wheel as it strips and threads the metal inside the container; only allowing processed threads out catching them on spools.
Mammoth moths, despite their name are slightly bigger than your average sized moths. They have tusk like mandibles which are used to shoot silk at their prey, or anyone they find annoying (like human seamstresses). Their silk is black in color and would require long hours in magoi enhanced dyes to slightly change the color. Which is why I used luminian silver threads since they change color when magoi is infused.
With luminian silver threads, Katya won't need to always absorb magoi from her surroundings. Now, her robes will do that for her and store the ambient magoi for a time. For her weapon, I created a bladed wand for her to use made of highly durable orichalcum.
The 12kg wand is 1 and half meters long with an Emerald Oak wood shaft 3/5th of the wand's length. The rest was the orichalcum blade meant for magoi storage and doubles as a melee weapon if needed. In summary, I made Katya a customized magoi conducive shortsword.
Regarding Katya's golems, currently she has Gwenn the eagle, Prototype Geoff, and a new hound golem called Raptor. I created orichalcum dog armor for Raptor with bladed luminian silver claws on the dog greaves over its paws. With each step it takes, wind magoi can be used to boost its speed. Meanwhile, its attacks can be enhanced with elemental properties.
As for Geoff, I made the thickest suit of plate armor made of Dwarven alloy. I additionally added an underlayer of thin luminian silver threads. This would increase the absorption rate of ambient magoi especially at night. Its longsword is made purely with orichalcum, and the tower shield is also thick Dwarven alloy. The golem is now a bon-a-fide tank.
Finally, for my armor, I spared nothing and poured my all into it. You might think I didn't put a whole lot of effort into the girls' equipment, but that would be wrong. For the most part, Katya is a ranged magic and golem using damage dealer.
Her golems have the ability to surveil the area on land and in the air. Further, the hound can perform stealth based attacks. All while Geoff has extremely high defense capabilities.
Ivy in contrast, is a mid-range speed-based damage dealer. For the most part she can control the battle with the use of thorny vines appearing wherever she wants them to appear. Both ladies have either enough protection or maneuverability to prevent 100 Knight stage Battlemasters from harming them. So, there's no need for masterwork equipment for them yet.
I on the other hand don't have that versatility. I prefer being a close ranged damage dealer who casts AOE (area of effect for you non-gamers/newborn otaku out there) spells with myself as the center. In other words, I'm a humanoid nuke. To survive my own abilities, I need armor which defends against physical, elemental, and inertial damage. I may have a divine body, but I am still mortal and can die like all the rest.
Therefore, my armor was made with another home-brewed alloy using orichalcum, mithril and moonsilver. The ratios took a while to perfect since I wanted it to have high magoi absorption abilities like luminian silver. Meanwhile it needed to be exceptionally durable like orichalcum, and flexible like mithril. After much trial and error, I created a new alloy I called "Necron Platinum".
The alloy had a similar appearance as Earth's platinum. Only, it is much denser and did not glow like luminian silver. Instead, as it absorbs light and magoi, a dark fog would form around the metal in the process.
With this alloy and hide of the Demon-faced Sire Ivy gave me, I created full plate armor. The armor was inspired by one of my favorite video game heroes turned vampiric villain, Ga*ri** Be*m***. I took most of the armor design ideas from his heroic leather armor's embroidery and combined it with his fear inducing attire after his fall from grace.
The Breastplate bore a skull shaped like a plague doctor's mask. The Pauldrons had been embroidered with golden ire along the ribbed trim edges. The Vambraces and Gauntlets were one piece with clawed fingertips and a gothic designs all over. The Fauld and Tasset combined bore the face of a wailing horned humanoid made from the Hannya mask of the Demon-faced Sire plated in necron platinum.
Meanwhile, the Demon-faced Sire's hide wrapped my waist and flowed down my legs like a robe's train. It also flowed in between my legs directly under the mournful face. The Cuisse and Greaves bore the same gothic embroidered designs.
A pair fitted, Sire's hide pants are to be worn underneath. Lastly the Sabaton were shaped like bare feet with sharp claws on the toes and back of the soles. I didn't create a helmet since they reduce visibility and I always shroud my exposed body parts in fiery magoi, creating a fiery barrier for extra protection and higher fear factor.
After all my hard work making everyone's equipment, I worked up an appetite for some "peaches". Lucky for me, Ivy was always D.T.F. Not caring about work anymore, Ivy and Ivy enjoyed each other's company in the open-air bath.
