Chapter 24 - Chapter 23- Nature’s Bounty

"Well, I'll be! Looking like a royal summon just for me, now that the guest of honor has arrived!"

I said, as I walked forward, eventually laying my eyes on a most recent acquaintance. How can I ever forget this creature as the Cheshire panther toyed with it. Hahaha, that cat created an illusion of the wendigo we ran into the first time we met.

Glowing with a purple-phosphorus flaming mane, a human face which looked like a 2-horned Hannya mask with red glowing eyes. Inverted batwings with a total wingspan the length of a commercial tour bus. One of the wings had a massive bite taken out of it, must have been the wendigos' doing before it bit the dust (pun intended).

Lastly, a wrathful leer landed in my direction as it was beyond pissed. Ah! I forgot about the most recent addition outside of the bite marks. A diagonal bloodied scar tattooed across its chest starting from the right shoulder to the left hind leg caused by my sword.

I'm quite sure even though it was under an illusion, it knew who caused that slash. That's most definitely the reason its look could kill. Or maybe cause I have almost hunted its kind to near extinction. This bastard of a monster awaiting me was no doubt the Demon-faced Sire!

In this very moment I was both fuming with rage, and excited to the point of almost orgasming in my pants (Ahh! Liquid ecstasy!). This giant gold mine had decided to invite me inside its home when I decided to pay it a visit, how kind. Yet, my visit won't be about me returning the favor.

In fact, I was planning on fucking the place up. The sire's blood red eyes leered at me as it slowly approached. I too readied myself to fight it, but then I came up with a better idea.

Not even considering whether it would attack or not, I took out the vials of mandrake peach extract. Scoffing at the man-faced bitch, I dumped them all around me. I also took out the scroll and was ready to break it when I looked into the beast's face.

It had a face of disgust mixed with fear when it smelled the sweet savor. And yet, it still wanted to tear me limb from limb. As it approached slowly, cautious of any mandrakes, I tore the scroll in half. In but a moment light filled the area blinding both me and the Sire. When everything calmed down, a humanoid figure stood in front of me.

Now that I have a good look, the figure was actually very alluring as if sculpted by Michelangelo or Di Vinci. Extremely thin vines plentiful in number acted as strands of hair flowing neatly down her back. Antler-like branches sat atop her head with peaches dangling from them.

She has a very slim but well-proportioned hourglass shape with curves in all the right places. Although she was stark naked, it didn't appear to be so. Bushels of leaves covered her secret places. I won't lie, I wanna try the "fruit" hidden behind those leaves. Lastly, her face was as fresh as a summer's morning. Her smile was as lovely as a maiden's smile yet provocative with her lusty seductress gaze.

Man, if I wasn't 6-sols-old (although I am billions of Earth years old), and her a mandrake, I'd suck those juicy melons as I teach her the meaning of ecstasy… (clear throat) … Cooling my lust, I came to my senses and called out,

"Ivy, that manticore is the Demon-faced Sire. I hope you like my gift!"

"Giggle… Thank you, little Godling!!

She said and got busy with her "gift." Seeing its natural predator, the Sire fled with extreme haste, but its flight wasn't fast enough as Ivy caused vines and tree-like growths to blocked its flight from all directions. The beast had nowhere to run, and since this place was most definitely its nest, my bloody revenge came to a sweet end. While Ivy indulged in her perfectly "wrapped" present, I received a few messages,

"Congratulations, you have completed: OOOH… OOO… AAAH… MISTER GARDENER!!! (Repeatable)

Title: Clover Peach Mandrake, Ivy's lover (Unique reward)

Yes!! I completed the repeatable quest and even got 10+ times the reward!! It's all thanks to the Sire and exterminating the manticore population. This arcane arts tome Nature's Bounty will be the first arcane art (besides uncle's magic) I have access to.

Not wasting anymore time, I swiftly went back to the Ancestral Glade by following the map in the system menu. I was happy to finally obtain my very first written arcane art. By first I mean not the arts forced into me by uncle.

After 2 hours of constant magoi infused running, I passed through the mist and made my way to the lake. This time evoking wind around my feet, I stepped on the water's surface; walking across the lake's surface. Too bad I'm not trying to be the "Kamikage of the Secret Herb Village" or anything. Cause with my abilities, I got the power to make it happen.

I took a quick bath and ate some peaches as I was starving… The peaches were delicious and helped heal my wounds and restored my stamina, the perfect elixir. When finished, I took out the Nature's Bounty tome and started reading through it. I didn't even care to reflect on today's hunt cause all that paled in front of an arcane arts tome. After a solid 3 hours, I closed the tome and rubbed my forehead. This arcane art was not at all what I thought it would be.
