Chapter 92 - Chapter 91- Clash of the Champions (Boss Fight) Part 2

As the final battle in the dungeon waged, all others who were not involved all removed themselves unless they had a death wish. With me completely blinded by fury, I would not be able to prevent myself from accidentally harming my allies. Whereas Midgardsormr absolutely didn't care if others were caught up in the splash damage.

In this state of pure fury, my movement were all concise, simple and aimed to kill. This was very much unlike how normal people become disorganized and unfocused. In this straight, I was oddly clear headed when it came to how I'd kill my enemies. Its just, everything was an enemy at the moment. It felt very odd to be honest.

Anyway, the snake was not fazed at all by my attacks, even when I landed a few blows that should have ended it wretched life. The creature was extremely lithe as it sacrificed certain areas of its body in order to prevent its death. Afterwards, the beast would use tooth, claw, tail, and spell in retaliation. Each of its attacks didn't cause any physical pain to the avatar, but they did cause me to slowly cry tears of blood.

Regardless, this beast needed to die now! Right now I am willing to pay the price for this power as I know I'd normally would be squashed under it's might. To be able to fight a ancient monster right now is a moment of a lifetime. I mean, I have experienced much more than anyone else whose 10. I digress, fighting this beast would be a historic event, one that will go down in history!! While we traded blows, the serpent decided to open its accursed maw saying,

"Errr! Little bobble!!! Your resistance annoys me! Surrender now and I may still show mercy!"

"Save you breath, snake! I'd sooner trust the repulsive words of a child molester, than whatever your vile mouth utters! Stop talking, only death can determine the outcome!"

I replied to the deceptive serpent. Nothing it says now or every can be taken at face value. Just listening to it speak sends a vile sensation slithering up and down my spine. It talking quickly reminded me of the book of Genesis where the serpent was filling Eve up with its deceptions.

Like a fool, she believed it words. With Adam not even questioning her provisions, they damned all mankind, simply by listening to the words of a snake. Of course, I understand the story is more of an allegory used to instruct children about our direct ability to decipher right from wrong. That and even the most innocent actions may lead to unavoidable destruction.

Long story short, don't trust the words of a shade snake. Especially one which created hordes of monsters, spit out caustic bile and speak in Latin. If you encounter one of these freaks, don't talk to it. Either kill it before it utters a single venomous word, or run like hell!!

Baring my mental tangent, I continued to rain down attacks while leaving deep slash marks all over the beast's body. Every time I aim for a vital spot, the bastards moves just a tad bit away. I would have expected this to enrage me, but instead I bided my time. The main reason for my patience; the bastard hasn't used any racial abilities yet.

Recalling its deathmatch with the 1st floor's floor guardian, I remember the serpent used two abilities. One caused monsters to swarm its enemies. Another created a black hole inside its mouth. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a few other abilities up its scaly sleeves. I guess, I'm gonna have to use highly dangerous spells.

Steeling my resolve, I back away from the serpent and began evoking large amounts of magoi. The serpent also prepared to fire another volley of spells. After channeling enough magoi into the Elemental Fallout chrysalis sword, I fired a beam of chromatic energy. This was my attempt to mimic the ability the 1st floor's floor guardian used that time.

The serpent simultaneously fired a caustic breath attack. At this moment, time slowed to a crawl. Our attacks flew towards each other. A rainbow beam of bright light, and a putridly green caustic flame approached each other. The attacks would then slam into each other, as a game of tug-o-war began.

With all of the dungeon's energy being funneled into the floor guardian I am currently controlling, I didn't worry about losing out on overall battery power. However, this clash was taking its toll on my actual body. More and more blood flowed from my eyes, ears and nose. I was barely holding on from the overload.

The serpent wasn't spared either. The energy collision was causing to the beast to take copious amounts of damage. Further, while our little game ensued, it could not use that black hole ability. I counted this to be the best moment for an all or nothing gamble. Channeling my inner G*ku, I commanded Dori.

"Dori, divert all dungeon energy to this floor guardian and my actual body. Prevent any further harm from coming to my body while fueling this guardian's full ability."

"Command received! Dungeon energy diversion set to the designated recipients. Beginning dungeon master support protocol."

With the new energy flowing into me, I restored the floor guardian's original arm count back to 12. Afterwards, I had each pir form another beam of energy. Next, I commanded the other floor guardians to once again fire their strongest abilities towards the serpent. Turning my focus back to the serpent, I made a final statement. (My weeb vibes were at max!)

"It was fun playing with you, filthy serpent. Now, time to end this!!"

I didn't give the serpent any time to chime back at me as I fired five additional chromatic beams. Even the other floor guardians fired their attacks which fused into my already existing beam of energy. The black hole properties of the treant's attack began absorbing the serpent's caustic flame. This would later empower my attack and it inched closer and closer to spelling the serpent's doom. Midgardsormr was visibly squirming in its scales trying to avoid the inevitable. I on the other hand, just simply watched.
