Upon waking up I felt sore all over. When examining myself, I noticed the bandages on left arm were gone and black puss-like grime was all over the place. Not knowing what happened while I was unconscious, I checked my stats which didn't show anything too different from before,

Apparently, I gained a new special condition called Assiduous Mind, but I am unsure how I got this reviewing the conditions a message window popped up saying,
"Your Flight from certain death while at death's door has unlocked a circumstantial trait, Assiduous Mind!"
"Assiduous Mind: When pressed against the wall, use the wall! Greatly reduces fatigue reduction by 60% when working long hours or in an intense situation for prolonged periods of time".
Okay, so I earned this when I was running like hell for 14 days straight, before passing out!? But that only explains the message here. In addition, there's nothing that can explain why my stats greatly rose, given this new condition only focuses on fatigue. Whatever! None of that matters right now since I just escaped a hellish deathmatch between monstrous titans.
I can't even dream of fighting on my own right now; I'd simply be asking for a gruesome death. Now, I should get cleaned up and head to the fortress in the middle of the lake. Evoking fire and water magoi, I cleaned myself off and burned the dregs and waste, so no lingering smell would be left on my armor and body. Afterwards, I headed back into the underwater tunnel leading to the lake using my map to avoid the direction I just came from.
After not even 4 hours, I reached the lake. The place was extremely dark and dangerous but not as dangerous as being in Midgardsormr's lair. I didn't even care for the dangers here.
Honestly, as long as something approach with killing intent, I would used water and wind magoi to imprison anything that approached. Although this did not kill the creatures, it disoriented them. That's more than enough for me to pass by. Once near the top, I shot up above the water's surface using wind magoi; somewhat levitate towards the fortress.
Landing in front of the fortress, I headed inside. I noticed there was a light on the 2nd floor and no monsters in the area, which means I am not the first one to arrive, good. Hopefully, everyone is safe and didn't have a dance with death as I have. As I reached the 2nd floor, I was assailed from behind by a warm embrace. Knowing who it was from the enchanting smell I spoke,
"I'm here, sorry for the wait!"
Turning around, I returned Ivy's embrace and carried her to a separate room. After all that stress and excitement, I needed some rest and what better way than to begin resting when in the embrace of your lover? Once entering our room, I erected a magoi barrier to completely isolate the sound.
It's been a long time since we fucked, and I'm not planning on advertising our alone time like this is B*a***rs or **r**u*.c*m. With that done, I and ivy fought ferociously as we ripped each other's clothes off. (Looks like I wasn't the only thirty person between the 2 of us.)

Upon arriving, Katya hugged me and whimpered a little, poor kiddo. Once calming down, Katya, Ivy and I sat down as Anansi and Cavilhaugh came from their respective rooms; joining us as we sat.
"Well look who finally decided to show up! Thought we lost you after not seeing you for 53 days. What happened? Did you encounter the floor guardian or hordes of monsters?"
