After all the pillow talk, we proceeded to embrace each other like we used to do before entering the dungeon. The next morning, I continued my work with the artificial island. The moment I reached the "work site" I noticed the pillar of lava had risen above the water, peaking through the water's surface.
All I needed to do now was wait for the land mass to reach a certain height above the water's surface, then close the portal within the volcanic cavern. Not even 30 minutes went by when a received a message for Dori,
"Alert: Molten shaft has reached optimal height and width. Beginning cooling process… Sealing Volcanic portals… Restoring equilibrium within the subaquatic magma cavern… Portals are sealed. Magma levels have receded below critical levels… Magma levels are now within the safe zone… Notice: Island landscaping requires manual correction."
Finished with the alerts, I hovered over towards the new island within the lake. As methane gas rose from the still somewhat hot island surface, I began evoking water and earth magoi. Further, I cooled and corrected the island's surface temperature, pH level and magoi absorption rate.
By the time a thick misty fog hovered over the volcanic soil, 10 hours had gone by. Next, I used nature and neutral magoi needed for planting fungi, a variety of grass seed and other small flora needed for future seed beds. With all preparations complete, its time to purify the Abyssal Treant sapling.
Before heading to the shrine, I once again took a bath and ate something. This will be the last thing I do here in the realm. Once finished, it will be time to head towards Douglas' clan to the east. After freshening myself up, I took off my previously mangled work robes and put on the military uniform which symbolized my status in all elfdom.
Walking outside of the wood cabin, I notice Ivy waiting for me. Taking her hand, we briskly headed towards the hollowed shrine where Elder Alamdarra, 4 shamanic elves, and Katya who just finished inscribing 10 dodecahedron magoi crystal the size of soccer balls. Unsurprisingly, Saphire sleeping under the shade of Byakko's fluffy tale.
As we all gathered in front of the shrine, I took out the sapling and with the help of Ivy and Katya, place with the magoi crystals. Once done, the sapling was in the center of the magoi crystal circle and ready for the next step. From hear, Elder Alamdarra began evoking magoi alongside the shamans as they released a melody towards the central shrine. As a response, the magoi crystals and sapling slowly floated off the ground, hovering for all to see.
Next, a small stream of water from the lake gently flew by. As a result, a bubble around the sapling was formed. Meanwhile, the magoi crystals liquified and slowly fused with the water.
The process was slow but one could see the sapling change as a tainted fog was expelled from the polychromatic water bubble. By the time the sapling was completely purified, night had already set in and I was about ready to go to sleep. Glancing at the now murky black bubble, I used neutral magoi to gently extract the purified sapling and headed to its new home.
After landing on the island, I dug a hole about 1 and half meters deep for the 3m sapling to grow in. Before I could even fill the hole back up, I felt a rumbling coming from the sapling.
Drrmmm… Drrmmm… Drrmmm
"What the… what's going on?"
I thought out loud, taking a step back from the sapling. From where I was standing, nothing seemed to be happening with the tree. However, if one could see through the ground, they would notice snake like tree roots tunneling all through the volcanic soil.
The roots were on a mission to reach the very depths of the pillar which made up the island. Once they reached an area which had the "support beams" , The roots would drill through them and directly spread to other places. This process continued 2,000m down the pillar before stopping as the sapling was way too small for the amount of energy it would receive.
Seeing my task complete, it was time to head to the light elf settlement. The girls had already packed everything up while I never really packed anything to begin with. Before leaving, I used the dungeons core to create a tangible version of the ring-form I was originally wearing.
Additionally, another 3 versions of the ring only instead of having three beasts were created. Each ring was made up of a single beast and a single set of magoi crysteas. In order for the Elder to get everyone here, he will need to have some level of clearance to bring people through the fog, or they may end up in a monster cradle.
"Elder, it is time for us to temporarily part ways. Before I go, I will bestow unto you this ring. It will grant you enough clearance to enter through the fog barrier and bring people with you."
Say this much, I handed Alamdarra the ring with the shape of a topaz-eyed phoenix biting its tail. In response, the Elder remind silent as he nodded his head and accepted the ring. Placing it on his finger, Dori then directly chimed,
"Alert: new user detected, scanning… scanning… scan complete. New user: Elder Alamdarra has be registered as "Dark Elf Representative" and has been granted level 4 clearance."
Good, not sparing anymore time, I boarded the carriage and we began are journey to the next elven settlement.
